Meals

In a variety of our excursions and expeditions we provide meals; these have been abbreviated in the following manner:

(Breakfast)
(Lunch)
(Snack)
(Dinner)
(Not included)

We believe that one of the most important parts of an excursion or expedition is the nutrition; therefore we carefully prepare meals, especially taking care of the nutritional content for being in the mountains all day and taking note of your dietary requirements or preferences.

Please let us know in advance if you are vegetarian, vegan, or if you have any type of medical dietary limitation, such as a wheat allergy.

Brief description of the meals:

Breakfast
This is served at the campground and consists of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, crackers, butter, dulce de leche (Argentine caramel like spread – delicious!), jams and cereals.

Lunch
The packed lunch is 2 sandwiches, cereal bar, alfajor (an Argentine chocolate bar – also delicious!), fruit, sweets and a bottle of water. (Please let us know if you need something different.)

Afternoon tea
This is generally finger food, served at the campground at the end of a day trekking. It is a mix of cheese, salami, crackers, olives, chocolate, cake and hot and cold drinks to keep you going until we sit down for a hot meal in the evening.

Dinner
This will be the main meal of the day. It will be a 3-course meal – starter, main and dessert, which will be accompanied by bread, wine and juice. The meal will be prepared in accordance with the logistical possibilities of the circuit chosen.
