Trekking Loma de las Pizarras (The Slate Hill)

A different trek, one in which you can appreciate awesome views of Mount Torre, Fitz Roy and their respective valleys.

Itinerary 
We leave El Chaltén on the Laguna Torre footpath and then turn off on the Madre e Hija (Mother and daughter) footpath. From here we start to climb up the Loma de las Pizarras on its South-Eastern ridge to its top of 1700masl. From the summit we will be able to admire the views of the 2 unforgettable mountains – Mount Torre and Fitz Roy from a different angle to normal. We then return to El Chaltén, continuing along the Madre e Hija path and then doing a small detour in order to pass by Laguna Capri, completing a great day out.
