We leave El Chaltén on an unpaved road in 4x4 heading towards Desierto Lake (40km away). On arrival we will do a short walk to the various viewpoints in order to take some great photos and enjoy the Patagonian beech forests.
Itinerary
In the vicinity of the lake we will be able to admire the lake itself, the small suspension bridge and a chapel built by some school kids from a secondary school in Río Gallegos.
After making the most of this idyllic location with a lunch or a snack we will return to El Chaltén.
